March 25-26, 2010 - Hume Lake Christian Camps
This year's annual International Event will once again be held the day before the Firefighters Retreat at Hume Lake Christian Camps. The FFC International portion will run Thursday afternoon through Friday afternoon.
Our host for the event will be Eric Simpson, long time host for Hume Lake and friend of Firefighters For Christ.
Thursday night we will highlight the event with sharing from FFC Chapters from all areas - we are strongly encouraging all chapters to send a leader to be a part of this event. Friday morning the men and women will be split to encourage and equip members and leaders in their personal relationship with the Lord.
REGISTRATION::
Registration for the FFC International Event is separate from the Hume Lake Firefighters Retreat. Hume Lake recently updated their website with new registration procedures. Please click on this link to register with them. Click on Family registration and you will have to create an account to register. The FFC International Event as well as the Hume Lake Firefighters Conference are labeled as separate events which you must add both if you plan on staying the entire weekend. You can also call (800) 965-4863 to register over the phone.
Separate registration is required for the Hume's Firefighters Retreat starting Friday afternoon which is available to register online via Hume's website.
PRICING:
$40 per person for meals/program (those with private housing)
$65 per person / $130 per couple for all lodging options (if staying just Thursday night)
$65 per person / $99 per couple for all lodging options (if staying for the entire weekend)
TRAVEL INFORMATION:
Travel to Hume Lake is easiest through flights to Fresno, CA. Hume Lake is located 65 miles east of Fresno in the Sierra Mountains. Due to the time of year, snow travel is possible and should be anticipated. Los Angeles and San Francisco airports are approx. 5 hours from Hume. If you are flying to Fresno and do not wish to rent a car, contact Brian Downs for transportation possibilities with the Fresno FFC Chapter. Southern California FFC members can provide transportation for those flying into Long Beach or LAX airports.

Our Annual International Conference will soon be here and we’re praying you will be able to attend. Several of our Northern Ireland brothers will be with us as well as members from other parts of the United States. Firefighters will be coming with and without their wives as well as young men desiring to join our profession.
We’ll have lots of quality time together with the venue the Lord has provided us at Hume Lake Christian Camp. Thursday evening after dinner, firefighters will be sharing testimonies about what God is doing in their departments. We’ll lay hands on new chapter leaders and pray for FFC ministries around the world.
On Friday morning, while the women are attending a special tea, we men will be able to spend time together. We’ll have a panel of firefighters that will answer confidential questions that you men will be able to submit ahead of time. As always, our focus is to encourage each other as firefighters to live our lives for Jesus Christ.
I strongly encourage you to make every effort to join us on Thursday, March 25th at 3 PM. This is when our weekend begins and I guarantee it will be life changing.
