March 26-28, 2010 - Hume Lake Christian Camps
Hume Lake's annual Firefighters Retreat will once again be held following the International Event starting Friday afternoon.
Our host for the retreat will be Chuck Bosman, Adult Ministries. Chuck has been a part of Hume for over 15 years.
The main session speaker for the weekend is Mickey Stonier. Mickey is Equipping Pastor at The Rock Church in San Diego and serves as Chaplain for the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department and the National Critical Response team. Mickey is currently the Director / Professor for the San Diego extension campus for Azusa Pacific University, Haggard Graduate School of Theology and a visiting professor for Talbot Seminary and is a lecturer for the American Red Cross Spiritual Care Training and International Critical Incident Stress Foundation.
Worship for the weekend will be provided by Southern California group, Faith First. Faith First began their combined ministry in 1994. Although the quartet wasn’t formed until they were all enrolled at Pacific Union College (PUC) in Northern California, they all began their musical outreach in their local churches and their Christian high school. Over the years they have recorded 4 CDs and a DVD, with their most recent CD featuring all original songs from the group. With Andrea, Marc, Scott and Shani each having growing families of their own, recent years have seen less travel and more time invested in their local churches and their families. But they still love to keep their eyes open for those special opportunities that come along to bless audiences with the sound that thousands have come to know and love.

Hume Lake recently upgraded their web registration system. You can click on the Hume Lake Website to start the process. Although this conference is listed as a Couples Retreat - we encourage single men/women to attend as well.
Prices:
$179 per person for meals/program (those with private housing)
$199 per person for standard lodging (rustic cabins)
$264 per person for deluxe lodging (upgraded cabins/dorms)
$314 per person for premium lodging (hotel style)
Registration for the FFC International Event (Thursday-Friday) is separate.
