- I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name.

UPDATE #9
For years God's people have been praying for the Lord to rescue the people of Haiti. Eight years ago a nine year old girl prayed and asked the Lord for a home for the orphans in Haiti. When her mother specifically asked what she was praying about, she said, "I'm asking God for a home, a school and a medical clinic." This girl, whose name is Ariana, is now seventeen and is the daughter of the missionaries at Lighthouse Orphanage." John White said, "It's so humbling to see the work they are doing here and to know it was through a vision of a nine year old girl, that the Lord built this orphanage, school and medical clinic."
When the earthquake happened, Ariana was standing on the roof of the orphanage praying. Her girlfriend, who lives across the city, was also on her roof praying. They were both singing, "Better things are yet to come, Better things are still to be done in this city." They saw buildings on either side of them collapse, but their buildings stood strong. Praise be to God!
From Ava, another team member, we heard about the sweet time of worship the team had with the children at the orphanage tonight. She said, "Their little voices sang, 'Better things are yet to come, Better things are still to be done in this city.' They also sang the worship song, 'May this generation see God's face.' Ava said, "God is so real to these children."
Erita, who is the bookkeeper for the orphanage, shared her survival story tonight. When the earthquake hit, she was at the University, where she attends classes. The building she was in collapsed but after twenty minutes she was able to get out from under the rubble. Everyone else in her class died. She testified to the greatness of God, His goodness and His power. She said in times like this, you learn that no one can help you but the Lord. He is our ever-present help!
John said, "Today, mothers were waiting in line for FFC's ERT pediatric nurse to give their babies medical attention. Kathleen is the daughter of Joe Lindaman, who has been in FFC's ministry for many years. Now she and her daddy are on the same mission field. Here's a picture of Joe and Kathleen before they left for Haiti.

John asked for specific prayer for tomorrow as they go to Carrefour. Their desire is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through their translator Yveto. He is Haitian, with YWAM, and speaks English, French, Creole, and some Spanish.
Thank you for praying. You are the Senders and Team 2 are the Goers. Each are vital in what the Lord is doing in Haiti!
UPDATE #8
Team #2 is doing fine. Today they are gathering supplies to assist in building a tent city for the people in the local area of Delmas. Also, they are organizing and sorting supplies at the orphanage for distribution and plan to work in the clinic this P.M. Tomorrow the plan is to go to Carrefour and assist with some projects there and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ! All are healthy and raring to go!
UPDATE #7
The team is at the Lighthouse Orphanage in Delmas, Haiti and are all set up to start working. They will be repairing a block wall, building shelves in a community building to organize donations and will be assisting with any medical needs as they arise. No docs on scene at this time - only nurses. They will be sleeping in tents on the roof of the orphanage. We are assured it is quite safe. We're thanking the Lord for their safe arrival and His plan for their work.
