President's Letter - 2nd Quarter 2026

President's Letter – Summer 2026

"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men." Colossians 3:23

Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Fire Service,

It is both an honor and a privilege to serve alongside men and women who have dedicated their lives to protecting and serving others. As members of Firefighters For Christ, we recognize that our calling extends beyond emergency response—it is a calling to live with integrity, compassion, and Christ-centered character in every aspect of our lives and service.

The fire service is built upon trust, responsibility, teamwork, and sacrifice. These values are not only essential to our profession but are also deeply rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ. As Christian firefighters, we are challenged daily to demonstrate honesty, diligence, loyalty, respect, and a commitment to serving others above ourselves.

Our mission is to glorify God through our service, our relationships, and our conduct. We strive to be firefighters who are dependable in our duties, faithful to our fellow members, respectful of our leaders, and compassionate toward those who call upon us in their greatest moments of need. We understand that our actions often speak louder than our words, and we seek to be examples of Christ's love both on and off duty.

The principles of ethical service remind us that we must continually evaluate ourselves, remain teachable, and pursue excellence. We are called to steward our equipment responsibly, support our fellow firefighters with loyalty and solidarity, and maintain a sense of gratitude for the opportunities God has given us to serve our communities. As firefighters, we encounter people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Our professionalism, kindness, and integrity help build trust and demonstrate the character of Christ. Every emergency scene, station assignment, training opportunity, and daily interaction becomes an opportunity to reflect God's love and grace.

I encourage each of you to remain steadfast in your faith, committed to your mission, and dedicated to serving with excellence. Let us continue to pray for one another, our departments, our families, and the communities we serve. Together, may we honor God by being faithful servants, courageous firefighters, and effective ambassadors for Jesus Christ.

Thank you for your commitment to the fire service and for your dedication to advancing the mission of Firefighters For Christ.

In His Service,

Joe Lindaman
