Emergency Relief Missions

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

Emergency Relief Team:

An Emergency Relief Team (ERT) is a group of volunteers, with an assigned team leader, sent to provide relief work in the aftermath of a natural disaster; such as a hurricane, typhoon, tornado, earthquake, or even a tsunami. An ERT can be sent anywhere in the world. The incident determines the type of relief work performed but could involve setting up and staffing medical clinics, conducting salvage operations, assisting local first responders, or even construction related projects. These trips are often spontaneous and dynamic and utilize the skill set of most firefighters. They are also an opportunity for the volunteer to really grow spiritually as the situations are often challenging and demand a step of faith.
