Hume Lake Christian Camps unfortunately had to cancel our upcoming retreat due to the severe winter weather California is currently experiencing.

The good news is FFC made a 'Plan B' in the event Hume had to cancel our retreat.

Pastor Bert Almazan (who was to be our conference speaker at Hume Lake) has graciously offered his church in Huntington Beach to host our conference. Our schedule will remain the same as it would have been at Hume Lake.

All sessions are optional and open to all, you did not have to be registered for the Hume Conference to attend.

Firefighters For Christ volunteer chaplains are trained FFC members, who God has called to provide spiritual care from a biblical perspective to firefighters, fire departments and other first responders. ⠀⠀⠀⠀

"A decorated fire captain with the Los Angeles City Fire Department, John White had a personal encounter with Jesus after 15 years on the job. He never looked back, answering the call to encourage firefighters to live their lives for Jesus Christ while continuing to serve on some of busiest fire companies in the city. John led teams to throughout the country and around the world on emergency relief and firefighter training missions all with the purpose to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ wherever they went.

 In his own ‘last words’ John shares the mighty miracles and testimonies he experienced over 45 years of ministry."


Virtual Chapters


Great news to our faithful followers of Jesus Christ, Firefighters For Christ now offers virtual Chapter meetings. Our Chapters have always been an important part of our ministry, but we don’t have Chapters in every area we have members. Virtual Chapters are now a way to bridge that gap.

Chapter meetings are a great time to fellowship together and grow in Our Lord. It is a space to come together to share our victories and our struggles. We support each other with the Word of God, testimony and prayer. We may have a devotional or a short teaching with discussion as we encourage each other.

Greetings FFC family! I'm sure that many of you firefighters out there have Wellness Programs or Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) that help you and your families in times of personal difficulty or crisis. We at FFC have long desired to provide a sort of faith based EAP to the firefighter family. Well, today Firefighters For Christ International is proud and excited to officially announce to you our new partnership with the Biola University's Center for Marriage and Relationships (CMR) to provide you with the vital resources you need to build healthy, Christ-centered relationships. CMR is not just about providing resources to help in all types of relationships, but, also help with mental health, behavioral health, chemical & substance abuse, addictions and more. If you're in need of further help, click on the "Contact" button to connect with a CMR counselor and let them know you are a fighter and part of the FFC family.

If my people... part 3 of 3⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If my people…turn from their wicked ways.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Key word here is turn, meaning stop doing what we think is right and start doing what God knows is right. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My wife and I were once lost on a desolate dirt road in South America. Her and I in a small rental car looking for our next stop. Lost on this road in the middle of some cornfields. We stopped on the side of the road and prayed for direction. The next thing we see is a car's headlights coming in the opposite us. She pulled up next to us, and asks us in Spanish, where we were going. We told her and she said, turn around and I will show you the way. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We are all on a path, but we must ask is this the right path. The next question is, where this path will end up. God wants us on the path that leads to Him. He wants us this path so much, that he gave us his son Jesus to show us the way back to Him.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If we have Jesus, we have life. If we don't have Jesus, we do not have life.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ These times of peril are tough, they are uncertain, but if we humble ourselves, pray, seek God and turn from our ways. God's promise is that he will hold up his end of the deal.
